Thomas Manetti was born on 17th April, 1977. His interest in music began during childhood when he learned how to play the saxophone at a music college in Deventer.

At the age of eighteen, following his high school education, Thomas attented the conservatorium in Arnhem. Inspired by many muscians, Thomas taught himself how to play the guitar.

When Thomas first met René in 1996 there was an instant rapport between them. They very quickly felt at ease with one another as they sang harmony vocals on Gram Parsons songs.

As a member of the band Thomas usually played electric guitar and saxophone, but he also sang background vocals during live performances and on all the CDs. The one exception to this is on the 2006 album, 'Another Spot', where he sang lead vocals on one of his own compositions - 'Where the Eagle flies'. During live performances he often sang lead vocals on cover songs by Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young and Van Morisson.

René and Thomas were the only two musicians in the band who were also songwriters, and a number of Thomas's songs can be found on the CDs.

Thomas was probably the most expressive member of the band, and as such played a great part in helping to create a lively and spirited atmosphere. He loved to lose himself in his music and because of this he could really get the band rocking.

During their years together, Thomas and René achieved great empathy and communication with one another, and this was very evident in their live musical performances. Their musical journey took them from Holland to America, England and Portugal.
