Daniël van der Molen was born on the 13th of January, 1986. He started playing the bass guitar at the age of 16. Before starting to play the bass guitar, he played piano and drums. He was motivated to play the bass guitar because that instrument attracted him the most. He likes to play a combination of rythm and melody on that instrument.

He taught himself how to play the (electric) bass guitar by listening to other players and just practising a lot. He has been inspired by Marcus Miller, Jaco Pastarius, Richard Bona and Andrew Gouche.

Nowadays he's part of many musical sessions. Among them gospel gigs and beside that...playing with Peter Doest, Magic Freddy, Thomas Manetti and René Wingelaar in The Real Music Revival.
